The
Accuton Ceramic Inverted Domes are made by a unique electrochemical
manufacturing process out of aluminum foil, which leads to very
thin, form-stable diaphragms of Al²O³ in Sapphire lattice with
high internal damping. This feature is very important and
responsible for very low coloration and distortion, unachieved by
other membrane materials. The well balanced concave shape yields
wide and uniform energy distribution, which is far more important
than high on axis sound pressure.
